Position Overview:

The Microsoft Contracts Specialist serves an important role in our Partner and Product Management Team (PPM) team. They support our Microsoft Contract management function and assist Zones Sales teams in successfully delivering on various Microsoft contracting workstreams. This role requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Agreements (EAs) and a desire to develop software lifecycle management and licensing experience. This position will work cross-functionally with Zones sales, operations, and licensing sales teams in their selling efforts.

What you’ll do as the Microsoft Contracts Specialist:

• Creation and maintenance of Microsoft Contracts
• Manage incoming cases against Microsoft Contract-related action items
• Generate Microsoft Bill of Materials, upon request
• Quality Control Microsoft Contracts workstreams as needed
• Act as subject matter expert, provide guidance on the Microsoft Contract process
• Develop and maintain levels of expertise in Microsoft licensing and products
• Provide appropriate, timely and accurate communications to management, and be prepared to handle any special and ongoing tasks as assigned.

What you will bring to the team:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES, ETC:

• Microsoft MCP – Large Organizations
• Microsoft P-CE (Commercial Exécutive)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working with Microsoft software licenses
• Experience working with ticketing systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide world class customer service
• Demonstrated strong communication and proven ability to resolve complex issues a timely manner
• Ability to act quickly to issues and develop solutions
• Demonstrated track record of achieving productivity goals

PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:

• Microsoft program and product licensing knowledge
• Microsoft licensing terms and conditions knowledge
