Job Description – Contracts Engineer

Location: Reco Diq, Balochistan
Rotation: 28 days on / 14 days off
Department: Contracts
Reports to: Director, Project Manager

Purpose of the Position:
To manage and administer project contracts, ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and that correspondence, variations, and claims are properly documented and communicated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and maintain records of all project contracts and subcontracts.
  • Draft and issue correspondence, notices, and letters to contractors and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Site Engineers to ensure timely contract compliance.
  • Track potential claims and variations, ensuring proper documentation and timely submission.
  • Support negotiation of contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, project procedures, and client requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date contract logs and status reports for management review.
  • Assist in risk assessment and resolution of contractual disputes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration within EPC or mining/construction projects.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract forms.
  • Excellent English communication and drafting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of contractual obligations.
