A Brief Overview

The Paid Media Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing and optimizing ASICS' digital media ecosystem with a focus on paid channels across the Sportstyle and Core Performance Sports (including tennis, volleyball, and wrestling) categories. This position sits at the intersection of strategy, content, and performance—supporting integrated digital media campaigns that drive measurable results and amplify brand reach. The Specialist will collaborate closely with external agency partners, internal marketing teams, and global ASICS stakeholders to ensure cohesive, impactful storytelling across all paid media touchpoints. This role requires a detail-oriented, data-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leveraging digital media to create meaningful brand connections. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in the footwear or athletic lifestyle industry and a strong understanding of the evolving digital media landscape.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in strategizing and developing integrated digital and paid media campaigns aligned with brand and business objectives, while actively monitoring campaign performance and audience engagement metrics. Optimize paid media workflows and processes to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Oversee the planning process for media partnerships, including vendor management with existing agency partners and the exploration of new collaborations. Ensure the effective execution and quality assurance of campaign deliverables in partnership with marketing teams and ASICS digital.
  • Manage the campaign planning process for paid media initiatives across all key cross-functional teams. Delegate action items and create workback schedules to ensure timely execution.
  • Analyze campaign KPIs and forecast targets and assist in the buildout of new reporting resources. Execute projects and adapt strategies based on business needs, including budget tracking and performance optimization.
  • Assist in campaign and content calendaring and planning, agency management, detailed campaign analysis across various paid media platforms and touchpoints.
  • Manage the coordination and execution of content production support for paid media campaigns, including product ordering, asset management, and content distribution in partnership with creative and agency teams.
  • Serve as a key representative at select content shoots and campaign activations where paid media content is produced, engaging directly with agency partners and creative teams. Some travel is required.

How You'll Be Successful

  • Experience and proficiency using major digital advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, YouTube, etc.), Microsoft Suite, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Tableau or similar reporting tools)
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in digital media strategy with the ability to drive innovation and translate business objectives into effective paid media campaigns.
  • Advanced ability to manage multiple concurrent paid media campaigns simultaneously, coordinate complex timelines, track deliverables, and ensure on-time, on-budget execution while maintaining quality standards across all initiatives.
  • Proven skills in managing agency relationships, coordinating with external partners, overseeing campaign deliverables, ensuring quality, and maintaining productive partnerships with media vendors.
  • Strong communication skills to serve as liaison between all cross functional teams, foster cross-departmental collaboration, and provide clear status updates and campaign recaps to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.


What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or combination of education, work experience, and training
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital media, paid media marketing, or social media marketing required
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting paid media campaigns across major digital platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, etc.) required
  • 1-2 years proficiency with analytics and reporting tools preferred
  • 1-2 years experience with e-commerce platforms (such as Salesforce/Content Stack) preferred
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent campaigns
  • Sports industry, athletic brand, or footwear industry experience preferred
  • Ability to travel for content shoots and campaign support (up to 10%)
  • Experience with content production and creative development
  • Active interest in and hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., generative AI for content, AI-powered analytics, or media automation platforms)


SALARY / PAY RANGE: Min: $65,000 Max: $70,000
