Specialist - PMO (UAE National)

Oversee and manage multiple related projects and improvement initiatives throughout the planning, implementation and execution phases, so as to drive synergy with an objective to expedite benefit realization, maximize ROI and help the organization achieve its strategic objectives.


Accountabilities:

  • Act as a strategic intermediary between various business departments and the projects team during elicitation exercise, to ensure that the agreed scope is aligned towards the organizational goals and is communicated clearly in a well-documented manner to minimize scope creep.
  • Collaborate with TCM team to evaluate solutions, manage contract negotiations and assist the stakeholders in selecting an appropriate product which meets all their requirements.
  • Develop a program surrounding multiple related projects with an objective to drive them in one direction, so as to maximize the ROI.
  • Oversee the financial management and budgeting of multiple projects across the program to ensure they are completed within the approved budget.
  • Participate in planning phase with an objective to define project pacing, so as to derive incremental benefits even before the program is completed and thereby realizing return on investment during the program lifecycle.
  • Identify and manage interdepencies to ensure Benefits are realized appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate and direct various business departments to ensure that identified business process improvement initiatives are completed on schedule and meet specifications set by the management team.
  • Collaborate with TCM team during project execution phase, to ensure the implemented solutions are in line with the defined scope.
  • Help maximize the ROI by ensuring that system functionalities are properly implemented along with proper procedures and training to end users.
  • Define program scope, activities, schedule and determine budget for individual projects in the program
  • Track and monitor execution of the project activities as per plan and provide regular updates to the senior management team.


Experience

  • Should have 08 years of cross functional experience in banking and technology domains while working in a Banking project environment.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Projects, MS Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
