Your Impact

As a Specialist in Program Management for Asset Management, you will support the leadership of Asset Management by providing high-quality analysis and insight across management support, project management, change management, and portfolio reporting. Your contributions will drive strategic initiatives and enhance the effectiveness of our asset management frameworks.


As Part of Our Team You Will
  • Design and implement asset management frameworks for project and change management.
  • Define scope, plan, objectives, key partners, anticipated resistance, necessary resources, and success metrics for projects and change initiatives.
  • Administer, coordinate, and facilitate leadership governance, strategy project support, and action delivery.
  • Collect, analyze, and deliver clear and consistent forward-looking reporting of in-flight and upcoming work.
  • Establish reporting for value delivery, upcoming work, priorities, decision-making effectiveness, program and project health, and work pipeline.
  • Support AM Leadership to bring work package vision and strategy to life through high-quality material development.
  • Plan, prepare, and facilitate working sessions with Heads and Directors across AM.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to provide leadership with proactive and insightful recommendations.
  • Develop, coordinate, and analyze a work pipeline aligned with organizational strategies and roadmaps.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Degree in Engineering, Technology, Management, and/or Project Management fields.
  • Knowledgeable in project management, change management, management support, and portfolio reporting.
  • Experience in leading global, complex, and/or cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in change management and working as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledgeable in management consulting approaches and project valuation and economics fundamentals.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Competency in strategy development, workshop design, project scoping & planning, and governance administration.
  • Ability to drive positive and mutually beneficial outcomes through impact and influence.
  • Competency in translating data and information into insights through visualization of concepts, project scopes & plans, and strategy materials.
Your Work Environment
  • Based in Denver, USA, and location flexible within Newmont locations, with potential travel to support customers, projects, workshop facilitation, planning, and team events.
  • Frequent collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Group Head Asset Management, Heads, Directors, and Specialist Business Support.
  • Interaction with external stakeholders including project managers, contract, and consulting partners.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $110,160 to 144,585 USD. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.


This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
