Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales


Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing medical device organization developing innovative diabetes-focused technologies designed for physician offices and clinical care teams. They are seeking a high-performing Sales Representative to drive product adoption and revenue growth within an assigned territory.


This role will focus on calling on Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) and Endocrinologists , educating healthcare professionals, and demonstrating the clinical and economic value of the solution. The ideal candidate brings a strong record of documented sales success, a consultative selling approach, and the ability to build long-term provider relationships.


Responsibilities:


  • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas within the territory
  • Target, prospect, and develop new business with PCPs and Endocrinologists
  • Identify and generate sales leads through proactive outreach, including cold calling
  • Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with overall growth strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and clinical staff
  • Present product demonstrations and deliver training and education to customers
  • Manage promotional initiatives to drive adoption and customer loyalty
  • Stay current on products, competitors, market dynamics, and industry trends
  • Clearly articulate the product’s value proposition to clinical and economic stakeholders
  • Engage in managed markets, leveraging knowledge of payer and managed care environments
  • Attend ongoing training on new technologies and participate in relevant professional organizations


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min. 2+ years of B2B sales experience; medical device, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare sales
  • Experience selling diabetes medication/products to PCPs and Endocrinologists strongly preferred
  • Proven “hunter” mentality with experience prospecting and cold calling
  • Existing physician or healthcare relationships
  • Documented history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong territory management, budgeting, and sales planning skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory (including occasional overnight travel)


Offering:


  • Base Salary: (commensurate with experience)
  • Year 1 On-Target Earnings: $200,000+ (uncapped)
  • Commissions are paid monthly
  • Ramp Guarantee up to $20K
  • Expense reimbursement and car allowance
