Specification Engineer

We’re seeking a proactive Specification Engineer to help ensure Jotun products are included in project specifications and drive profitable growth.

In this role you’ll build strong relationships with architects, consultants, and developers, securing approvals and influencing decision-makers.

This dynamic, field-based role involves meetings, seminars, and technical presentations, where your customer focus and communication skills will shine. We’ll provide full training and support to help you succeed, giving you the chance to work independently while collaborating with a team dedicated to excellence and innovation.

This position is based at our New Cairo head office and reports to The Specifications & SSS Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular meetings with architects, consultants, developers, and project owners to present Jotun, its products, and technical documentation.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with specifiers through visits, presentations, seminars, and training sessions.
• Develop a solid professional network to support Jotun’s specification approvals and influence project decision-makers.
• Identify and track key projects in Egypt, ensuring tight specifications that include Jotun products to secure business opportunities.
• Support the sales team by securing product approvals, sharing project updates, and providing technical and commercial information to help achieve sales targets.
• Monitor the construction and paint market, maintain an updated CRM database, and deliver tailored solutions to strengthen Jotun’s market position.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

Requirements We Look For

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture /Civil engineering.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Specifications, Technical Sales or Projects Sales in Building and construction industry.
• Able to speak fluently in English and Arabic.
