Specification Engineer - Female

Job Purpose:
The role is focused on promoting and specifying MEP materials with consultants, architects, and specifiers. The position involves raising brand awareness, securing product approvals, and ensuring the client’s products are included in project specifications, thereby driving demand from the early stages of project design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with MEP consultants, design firms, engineering offices, and architects.
• Deliver technical presentations and “lunch & learn” sessions to introduce MEP products and systems to consultants and design teams.
• Identify, generate, and follow up on project leads through consultant offices and project databases.
• Ensure client products are specified and approved during the early design and planning stages.
• Prepare and submit product technical submittals, compliance sheets, and other required documentation for consultant approvals.
• Stay updated on applicable standards (ASHRAE, BS, NFPA, etc.) and local authority regulations.
• Collaborate with internal technical, sales, and marketing teams to ensure proper product positioning and support.
• Represent the client at exhibitions, seminars, and industry networking events to promote products and brand.
• Track projects through design, tender, and execution phases to maintain influence at each stage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within MEP or construction materials.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and materials (e.g., HVAC ducts, cables, conduits, valves, insulation).
• Experience working with consultants and understanding specification processes.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and CRM systems.

• Experience in a consultant/specification role within the GCC market is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
