Requirements

  • At least three years of professional childcare experience
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • CPR & SIDS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willing to complete background checks, social media screening, and driving record verification (we cover all costs)
  • Reliable transportation suitable for safely driving children
  • Comfortable around pets (cats and dogs)
  • No additional children allowed on the job

About the Family

A warm, organized family is seeking a dependable, energetic, and long-term nanny who values consistency, structure, and meaningful engagement with children. This is a split-shift position during the school year with a similar schedule in the summer.

The family is looking for one consistent nanny for years to come. Flexibility and reliability are extremely important.

School Year Schedule

Monday–Friday
6:30 AM – 9:00 AM

  • Prepare breakfast
  • Prep lunches and snacks
  • Wake children and assist with morning routines
  • Walk children to the bus stop (¼ mile walk)

2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • 2:00–4:15 PM: Household organization (children-related tasks, tidying, light household support)
  • 4:15 PM: School pickup
  • After-school care, activities, and engagement

Summer Schedule

Similar split schedule. Children will participate in activities and sports. The family would love a nanny who enjoys keeping kids active, getting outdoors, and planning engaging outings.

Additional Schedule Notes

  • One full day needed per month
  • One early release day per month (1:30 PM pickup)
  • 5 weeks off per year
  • Long-term commitment desired

About the Children

11-Year-Old Child
Curious, analytical, and loves understanding how things work. Enjoys:

  • Hockey, soccer, and jiu-jitsu

6-Year-Old Child

  • Provided warm, clear, consistent boundaries
  • Encouraged in both independence and creativity

Important Medical Requirement

One child has ADHD and a neurological movement condition that causes brief, involuntary movements. Episodes are short, and he remains fully aware and able to participate in daily activities and sports. The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting a child who benefits from structure, consistency, and calm, clear communication.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
