Our event organizing division hosts high-profile events such as MECOC EXPO, MEICA EXPO and AIMCS EXPO supported by leading national and international oil companies, industry service providers, and key government bodies.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reports to the Director of Events
  • To work with the Director in identifying new opportunities for the event
  • Expected to form and lead a new team of sales professionals in due course and then would be responsible to ensure targets of the team are achieved
  • Actively promote and sell exhibition space and sponsorship
  • To conduct a telephone sales campaign to past exhibitors and new prospects
  • To conduct face-to-face sales to current exhibitors, past exhibitors and new prospects
  • To source new companies in these marketplaces from the trade press and competitive events by effective research online.
  • To actively seek out and follow through effectively on new prospects
  • Liaise with Associations and Trade Bodies
  • Develop and maintain long term relationships with current customers and prospects, understanding their business and marketing needs
  • To develop and manage the prospect database
  • To maintain contact with exhibitors and deliver a high standard of customer service
  • To achieve individual and event revenue targets
  • Update and maintain accurate ‘Sales Force’ records

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience required in the same field handling the above-mentioned tasks.
  • Fluent in English written and verbal, other languages an advantage.
  • Salesforce CRM knowledge is an Advantage
  • Research Skills is an Advantage
  • The Person should easily adapt, be flexible and communicate in an excellent and professional manner with colleagues and clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: AED2,500.00 per month
