Sports Videographer

Duties

• Film live sporting events, practices, and related activities using professional videography equipment to ensure high-definition footage.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos utilizing industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
• Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and color correction to enhance the visual appeal of each project.
• Manage post-production workflows including audio syncing, color grading, and adding graphics or overlays for clarity and impact.
• Collaborate with coaches, athletes, and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver content that aligns with branding strategies.
• Capture high-quality photography using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop for promotional materials and social media content.
• Maintain all videography equipment, ensuring cameras, lighting, and editing hardware are in optimal condition for consistent performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in videography and video production, especially within sports or live event environments.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom; familiarity with Final Cut Pro is a plus.
• Skilled in filming techniques, camera operation, lighting setup, and capturing fast-paced action accurately.
• Knowledge of post-production processes such as editing, motion graphics creation, color grading, and sound design.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in fast-moving settings.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and understand project requirements.
