Job Description

We are seeking a talented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. As an SQA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing and implementing rigorous testing strategies. Your role will be instrumental in delivering software that meets user expectations and adheres to high standards of functionality, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications to identify and document defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design testing strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Create detailed bug reports and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Verify and validate software to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance software quality.
• Stay updated on emerging testing tools and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
• Familiarity with automation testing and scripting languages such as Python or Java.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
