Position: SQA Engineer (On-Site)
Shift Timing: Night Shift — 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (PKT)
Location: College Road, Township, Lahore

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our expanding QA team. The selected candidate will take ownership of both automated and exploratory testing efforts, contributing throughout the full QA lifecycle. This includes defining test approaches, estimating efforts, executing tests, maintaining documentation, reporting outcomes, and managing defects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute effective test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify risks and issues early in the development process.
• Log, track, and verify defects using standard issue-tracking systems.
• Work closely with developers and cross-functional stakeholders to support on-time, high-quality releases.
• Ensure QA documentation is clear, accurate, and consistently maintained.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting project deadlines.

Required Experience & Skills

• At least 2 years of practical experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles (SDLC/STLC).
• Hands-on experience testing software systems and web-based applications (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Adaptable, proactive, and quick to learn new tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to both web and mobile application testing.
• Experience with manual testing methods and test automation tools.
• High attention to detail with solid technical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated team player who consistently contributes to overall quality goals.
• Strong analytical mindset focused on delivering reliable, high-quality results.
