Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Shift Timing: Night Shift (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PKT)
Work Location: College Road, Township, Lahore

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Software Quality Assurance Engineer to become part of our growing QA team. This role involves hands-on participation in both manual and automated testing across all phases of the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will contribute to test strategy creation, workload estimation, execution, reporting, and defect management to ensure high-quality and stable software deliveries.

Key Duties

• Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and automated test scripts
• Conduct exploratory and risk-based testing to uncover potential issues early in the development cycle
• Record, monitor, and validate defects using standard defect tracking tools
• Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional stakeholders to support on-time and quality-focused releases
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date QA documentation
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting project timelines

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Practical experience in testing applications, with a preference for web-based platforms
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work autonomously as well as effectively within a team
• Quick learner with a proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented approach

Desired Skills

• Experience testing both web and mobile applications
• Strong background in manual testing with exposure to automation tools and frameworks
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong technical and debugging skills
• Self-driven team member committed to maintaining product quality
• Analytical mindset with a strong focus on software stability and reliability
