Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Shift Timing: Night Shift (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PKT)
Work Location: College Road, Township, Lahore

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and quality-driven Software Quality Assurance Engineer to become a part of our growing QA team. This role requires hands-on involvement in both manual and automated testing across all phases of the software lifecycle. The successful candidate will contribute to defining test strategies, effort estimation, test execution, results reporting, and defect management to help ensure reliable and consistent product releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts
• Conduct exploratory and risk-based testing to uncover potential defects early in development
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using standard issue management tools
• Collaborate closely with development teams and other stakeholders to support on-time, high-quality releases
• Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date quality assurance documentation
• Manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting established project timelines

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Practical experience testing software applications, particularly web-based platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively within a team
• Quick learner with a proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset

Preferred Skills & Attributes

• Experience with both web and mobile application testing
• Strong command of manual testing techniques with exposure to automation tools and frameworks
• Exceptional attention to detail with solid debugging and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven team contributor committed to maintaining high-quality standards
• Analytical thinker focused on delivering stable, scalable, and reliable software
