SQA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate is passionate about testing, enjoys breaking things (in a good way), and works closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and/or automated)
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through resolution
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing
• Validate fixes and ensure issues do not reoccur
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and best practices
• Ensure software meets quality standards, performance benchmarks, and security requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience as an SQA Engineer or Software Tester
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
