Sr. A/C Technician

Job Description:

We are looking for a senior AC Technician who can install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in homes/businesses, diagnosing electrical/mechanical faults, replacing parts (compressors, motors), cleaning coils, and ensuring optimal performance, requiring strong diagnostic skills, customer service, and often EPA certification for handling refrigerants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Setting up new AC units, ductwork, and electrical connections.
• Maintenance: Performing routine check-ups, cleaning coils/filters, greasing parts, and checking refrigerant levels.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing problems in electrical, mechanical, or refrigerant systems.
• Repair/Replacement: Fixing or swapping out faulty components like compressors, fans, thermostats, and motors.
• Customer Service: Explaining issues, providing estimates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Documentation: Keeping accurate records of service calls and repairs.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED, often supplemented by an accredited HVAC program.
• Certifications: EPA Section 608 for refrigerants is common.
• Technical Skills: Strong diagnostics, electrical knowledge, tool proficiency, and familiarity with various AC types (Inverter, VRV/VRF).
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, time management, and physical stamina.
• Other: Valid Driver's License, ability to work in various environments, sometimes on-call.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
