Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring a strong retail accounting background, deep technical knowledge of IFRS, and experience in inventory and multi-store retail environments. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting business decisions, and maintaining regulatory compliance in a fast-growing fragrance business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations)
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee retail inventory accounting, including stock movement, shrinkage, and COGS
• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and retail store accounts
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements
• Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors
• Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of data in accounting and ERP systems
• Drive automation and improvements in accounting processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CA preferred)
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in retail or FMCG in the UAE
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and internal controls
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Previous experience in the perfume, beauty, or luxury goods sector is an advantage

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
