InterCo

Responsible for supporting Honeywell SBG Intercompany and intercompany activities

Month end reconciliation for accurate month end reporting
-
Ensure InterCo accounts are analyzed; deliver detailed reports to business and co-source partners highlighting areas of concern.

Ensure account recons are delivered with quality.
-
Identifies and resolve month close issues and material differences.
-
Cleanse IC master data for obsolete trading partners.
-
Work on resolving out of balances, and ensure entities line up to IC policy and procedures.
-
Analysis of the IC GL accounts on a periodical basis, including policy enforcement.
-
Manage and own international cash mgt clearing account (measured against aging).
-
Liaise with BPO team and ensure they are delivering requirements as per agreement
-
Ensure Interco practices are compliant to locations supported
-
Manage Intra-company and resolution of Equity reporting for cross company transactions for multi company codes in same legal entities.
-
Manage and propose appropriate corrections to GRIR account working alongside Controllers and procurement.

Be the focal point to co-ordinate mass charges including coding and recording
-
Monitor Interco queues; act as tier 2/3 resolution/co-ordinator

Ensure month-end discrepancies are resolved and closed out within the set timelines.

Oversee recharge processes; Be the focal point to co-ordinate mass charges incl coding and recording.

Focus on relevant metrics and develop action plans based on metric outcome.

Reduce exceptions through root cause analysis and implementation of solutions.

Work with InterCo suppliers to implement process improvement

Build effective working relationships with business contacts and co-source partner.

Support business controls compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley.

Subject matter expertise (SME), Process re-engineering & Automation.

Work closely with key stakeholders like Controllership, SBU CFOs and other SBG InterCo contacts
-
Reduce exceptions through root cause analysis and implementation of solutions.
Qualifications
Education and Certifications
Required Experiences
-
5 - 7 + years of overall finance experience.
-
Finance or Accounts graduate. Must have worked in finance domain for at least 5 years
-
Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting.
Knowledge and Skills
Critical
-
Hands on experience with SAP.
-
Worked on consolidation platforms like Hyperion Reporting systems.
-
Banking platform technical expertise.
-
Broad knowledge of Inter Company billing concepts, processes & best practice.
-
Good knowledge of US GAAP.
-
Strong technical and analytical skills.
-
Knowledge of R2R concepts, processes, best practices and value addition process initiatives and execution, & Banking domain expertise.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill is desirous.
Preferable
-
Exposure to managing full close processes for a multi-national group.
-
Proactive, ability to use own initiative and take lead to devise creative solutions.

Having an audit experience will be an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
