SAP SD Consultant
Description
The SAP SD Consultant will be part of highly motivated and passionate team within DXC. Resource will be responsible for the team that performs all AMS support and Project at DXC. He/she is responsible for leadership and ownership of Delivery and contractual requirements across managed environments.
The candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard system functionality.
Provide Functional consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing functional support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical/functional knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical/functional support for deal proposal development.
The SAP SD Consultant should be motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services’ agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills.
Working Experience: 7 years as SAP SD Consultant
Technical Skills
Relevant experience of 7 years in SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA sales. End to end project implementation experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA sales in at least 1 E2E Implementation experience and 3 Support projects. Should have experience in Global template development and rollouts. Expertise in various SAP SD functionalities, including Data Migration, Credit Management, Pricing, AATP (Advanced Available to Promise), BRF+ (Business Rules Framework plus), Settlement. Hands on experience in SAP SD Enquiry to Billing cycle with expertise in Pricing (basic and advance), Implementing price routines, exits, project experience in configuring basic functionalities in SAP SD. Experience in designing & working with interfaces from SAP with other third-party systems. Significant: Experience in interfaces with legacy systems and IDOC
Good knowledge of SD pricing, Order management, IDOC’s , Revenue account determination and Copy Controls Good knowledge of Output related issues. Writing of functional specifications for ABAP custom programs for RICEF objects Experience in integration of SD module with other modules Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. Exhibit good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Added advantage: Tools- Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow The candidate must be a self-motivated and self-driven.
Core Responsibilities:
Analyse clients' sales and distribution processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions leveraging SAP SD best practices.
Configure SAP SD modules (Sales, Shipping, Billing, Credit Management, etc.) to meet specific business requirements.
Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration) to ensure the SAP SD solution functions correctly and meets requirements
Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and custom developments.
Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., MM, FI, PP, Sales Force) and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
Key Skills
Deep understanding of SAP SD functionalities, including master data, pricing, availability check, credit management, and more.
Ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and provide training.
