Job Profile: Business Development Head

Role Overview

The Business Development Head will be responsible for driving the growth of Pyramid Café Lounge & Bar through both running business expansion and franchise development. This role demands strong leadership, strategic vision, and expertise in hospitality, F&B, and franchising models. The candidate will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, acquiring franchisees, and ensuring profitability across outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Expansion & Strategy
  • Develop and execute business growth strategies for existing and new markets.
  • Identify and evaluate potential locations for new outlets.
  • Collaborate with the corporate team to align brand vision with expansion goals.
  • Franchise Development
  • Identify, approach, and onboard potential franchise partners.
  • Build a strong pipeline of franchisee leads through networking, industry connects, and marketing.
  • Negotiate franchise agreements and ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Provide guidance and operational support to franchisees.
  • Revenue & Profitability Management
  • Work on sales targets, P&L, and profitability of existing and franchise outlets.
  • Monitor performance of franchisees and support them in achieving targets.
  • Implement strategies for increasing footfall, sales, and brand visibility.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, investors, and franchise partners.
  • Ensure smooth communication between corporate management and franchise owners.
  • Handle conflict resolution and provide solutions for franchise-related issues.
  • Market Research & Innovation
  • Study industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.
  • Suggest innovative concepts, offers, and campaigns for business growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for brand promotion and franchise marketing.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8–12 years in Business Development, preferably in Hospitality/F&B/Franchise models.
  • Background: Strong exposure to franchise sales, QSR, or lounge/bar/café industry preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership & negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of scaling businesses and franchise networks.
  • Strategic thinker with operational knowledge of F&B outlets.
  • Excellent communication and networking ability.
  • Education: MBA/PG in Marketing, Business Management, or Hospitality Management preferred.
  • Other: Willingness to travel across cities/states.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
