The Senior Cloud & Network Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. This role supports hardware, software, network environments, and assists with cloud services while ensuring compliance with security standards and documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support & IT Operations
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals
- Troubleshoot operating system and application issues (Windows, macOS, Office 365)
- Respond to helpdesk requests and ensure timely issue resolution
- Maintain system performance and availability
2. Network Support & Infrastructure
- Assist in maintaining network infrastructure including LAN/WAN connectivity
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues
- Support configuration of switches, routers, and wireless access points
- Assist in monitoring network availability and reliability
3. Application & Database Support
- Deploy and support local web applications
- Assist in maintaining database environments
- Support application troubleshooting and basic configuration
- Coordinate with development teams for application deployment
4. Cloud Support (AWS & Azure)
- Provide basic support for AWS and Azure services (EC2, S3, Azure VM, Azure SQL)
- Assist with cloud resource monitoring and management
- Support cloud-based application deployments
- Maintain awareness of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
5. Security & ISO 27001 Compliance
- Assist in ISO 27001 documentation and audit preparation
- Follow secure IT practices and enforce security policies
- Support patch management and system updates
- Assist in implementing security controls and access management
6. IT Asset & Vendor Management
- Manage IT inventory and asset tracking
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and technical support
- Maintain asset lifecycle documentation
- Ensure proper allocation and maintenance of IT equipment
7. Documentation & User Training
- Maintain IT documentation and configuration records
- Create user guides and knowledge base articles
- Train staff on secure IT practices and IT usage policies
- Document troubleshooting steps and procedures
- 8. Department Coordination & Leadership
- Coordinate IT activities across departments
- Act as primary point of contact for internal IT support requests
- Assist in planning IT requirements for departments
- Provide guidance and support to junior IT staff (if applicable)
- Ensure smooth communication between technical teams and business users
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment
- Basic knowledge of AWS/Azure and cloud computing concepts
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Office 365, and networking fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards
- Understanding of cloud cost estimation tools
- Experience with system backups and patch management
- Exposure to IT asset management tools and practices

- Average response and resolution time for IT support requests

Pay: Up to Rs200,000.00 per month
