Job Purpose: The Sr. Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in administering the company-wide compensation programs including base pay, incentive pay programs, pay policies and ad hoc projects. The role will also be responsible for the administration of related compensation components within the HRIS system, including reporting and data integrity.


Essential Duties:

Drive annual compensation processes and programs including merit planning and execution, incentive planning and calculation, sales incentive plan creation and administration, and pay equity analysis and review.

Administer the market pricing and compensation survey participation process and conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis.

Analyze jobs and related duties to determine classification and appropriate salary range while managing the internal endorsement processes for all job descriptions.

Generate recommendations and budget analyses of compensation plan and market and equity changes and reviews.

Create and utilize audits, HRIS reports and analysis to ensure compensation programs are administered in compliance with company polices, contracts, and applicable federal and state regulations.

Partner with Payroll and IT to ensure data integrity of compensation, associate information, and position data in HRIS.

Administer all processes within UKG related to the Compensation Management merit module. Identify and incorporate process improvements within the system in addition to manual processes.

Stay abreast of new market trends, regulatory changes and industry trends including pay transparency and prevailing wage.

Participate in internal and external audits as requested and partner with various compensation vendors as necessary.

Support the development and delivery of compensation related to education and training as needed.

Other job duties assigned related to Total Rewards function.

Travel is required up to 2 -3 times per year.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding compensation matters

  • Strong Mathematical/analytical/technical skills
  • Ability to work with company leaders and explain compensation related matters
  • Business acumen related to changing deadlines, ad hoc

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3+ years of Compensation experience in HR
  • Minimum 2 years HRIS experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • 5 years of Compensation administration experience
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Powerpoint)
  • Market pricing experience with a tool such as Culpepper
  • Experience with a Compensation Platform
  • Experience with UKG a plus
  • Experience with BI reporting tool a plus
  • CCP designation (or current candidate) a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
  • Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
