Primary Purpose of the Job:
Perform Cost Engineering, Budgeting and Invoicing activities necessary to support the successful execution and timely delivery of all projects executed by Projects Engineering & Procurements Services (PEPS) Directorate.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum 10 years of experience in Cost Engineering with at least 5 years specific hands-on experience in Cost Estimation of upstream/downstream projects (i.e., Oil & Gas and/or Civil/Infrastructure) at various stages.
Proficient in cost estimation and analysis at various project stages (e.g., Initiation, Study, FEED/ECS and EPIC/Construction), cost monitoring, forecasting & reporting, negotiations, and evaluation of claim including dispute settlement.
Additional experience in quantity surveying will be preferred.
Knowledge of contracting strategies and experience in tendering process including technical and commercial bid evaluation.
Conversant with international cost estimation software.
Fully familiar with QHSE international standards and project requirements, material standards and specifications, project management and construction techniques.
High level of computer literacy with relevant MS Office/Project Control Software.
Educational Qualifications:B.Sc. or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline.
Preferably Certified Estimating Professional from AACE or equivalent relevant Certifications/Memberships and/or Certified Cost Engineer.
