Job Title: Sr. Executive – Logistics
Location: Lower Parel West, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Reporting to: Founder / CEO
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Prepare export invoices in Excel & Visual Gems.
- Manage complete export operations, including pre-shipment documentation.
- Coordinate with banks, customs, and buyers to ensure timely delivery of consignments.
- Liaise with factories for shipment dispatches and with CHA for clearance of import shipments.
- Follow up with clearing agents & forwarders for import shipments.
- Provide required details and documents to banks for inward & outward remittances.
- Procure EPCG licenses as required and ensure timely closure of obligations.
- Identify and implement cost-efficient methods for courier and shipping consignments.
- Handle booking of DHL export shipments and submit clearance documents.
- Visit customs departments for registration of MEIS Licenses and resolution of queries.
- Apply for Import Certificates in AEPC and renew Textile Committee documentation.
- Share payment details with buyers and follow up for timely collections.
- Ensure all BRCs are generated within timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of outstanding invoices from buyers.
- Ensure compliance with customs, GST, forex regulations, and DGFT guidelines.
- Conduct visits to Nhava Sheva / Sahar Customs to resolve shipment or GST-related issues.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate in any discipline (Commerce preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience with an Import-Export House.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Strong understanding of export-import regulations and compliances.
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders (banks, CHA, customs, buyers, factories).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
