Job Purpose
To enhance the effectiveness and agility of the Finished Goods (FG) Supply Planning function by driving automation, improving data quality, digitizing core planning processes, and leading functional excellence initiatives.
Principal Responsibilities

Automate recurring Supply Planning processes such as SAP data extraction, stock visibility reporting, weekly production plan inputs, and MPS data preparation.

Introduce systemized checks and validations to reduce manual errors in key inputs (BOM ratios, safety stock values, production versions, SFG/PM availability).

Build robust dashboards to strengthen operational visibility across:

FG DOC (Days of Cover) at SKU/category/plant level, highlighting over-stocked and under-stocked items relative to monthly targets and operating norms.

Lean KPIs including planning cycle time, schedule adherence, loss tree analysis, and waste reduction opportunities.

SLOBs (Slow-Moving & Obsolete Stock) tracking to identify early risk items, aging trends, stock liquidation opportunities, and cross-functional action plans.

RM/PM availability against the weekly production plan, highlighting constraints impacting FG output.

Production sequencing & line efficiency, including changeover impact, format-wise planning, and machine utilization KPIs.

Standardize reporting templates across categories to ensure consistent data interpretation and decision support for ORM, PDCA and DSRs.

Collaborate with IRD, Production, QC, Procurement, and IT/SAP teams to resolve data discrepancies impacting MRP, MPS and weekly plans.

Serve as an operational backup to category-wise FG Planners during leave, high volume periods, or crisis scenarios.

Calculate and verify Over Printing Instructions (OPI) quantities, ensuring alignment with production versions and formulation requirements before communication to Procurement.

Coordinate OPI and stickering requirements by consolidating SKU-wise label, artwork, and quantity needs, validating them against packaging material availability and ensuring correct production version alignment to avoid errors during printing and execution.

Projects related to CS/DP/SP as required by the function.
