Sr. Finance executive Retail

Position Overview: The Senior Executive - Finance (Receivables) is responsible for overseeing and managing the accounts receivable function within a retail business. This role includes ensuring efficient collection of receivables, managing customer credit, optimizing cash flow, and supporting retail shop operations across Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial management, accounts receivable processes, retail operations, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Receivable Management:

Oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reporting.

Implement and manage processes for effective credit control and minimize overdue accounts.

Monitor and review aging reports, identifying delinquent accounts and developing strategies for collection.

2. Credit Risk Management:

Assess and manage customer creditworthiness, setting and reviewing credit limits in line with company policies.

Conduct credit analysis and risk assessments to mitigate financial risk associated with customer accounts.

Develop and enforce credit policies and procedures to ensure effective risk management.

3. Cash Flow Optimization:

Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and improve working capital through effective receivables management.

Coordinate timely cash deposits from retail shops and ensure accurate cash handling processes.

Monitor cash collection processes, resolving discrepancies, and implementing improvements.

4. Retail Shop Operations Support:

Oversee inventory control in ERP systems, ensuring accurate in and out processes.

Manage the closing process of shops in ERP on a timely/daily basis to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Ensure timely disbursement of shop expenses, including rent, maintenance, and other operational costs.

Coordinate stock shop audits, collaborating with external auditors for thorough and accurate reviews.

5. Sales and Reconciliation:

Reconcile sales data between WhatsApp sales and ERP sales, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Address and resolve discrepancies in sales reporting promptly.

6. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present detailed management and financial reports on accounts receivable performance, including cash flow forecasts and credit risk assessments.

Analyze receivables data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

7. Compliance and Controls:

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable and retail operations.

Maintain accurate documentation and records to support financial audits and reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with retail operations, sales, and other departments to address issues and enhance the receivables and retail operations process.

Support the integration of accounts receivable and retail shop systems with other financial and operational systems.

Proactive problem solver with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs110,000.00 per month
