Job Description

Overview: CMD & MOL IS are critical components of the IES service group. We are seeking a Sr Financial Analyst FP&A to join our finance team and support the achievement of our near and long-term financial objectives. This role encompasses comprehensive FP&A planning, P&L financial analysis, and reporting to drive financial goals and initiatives in a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development, standardization, and enhancement of regular analyses and reports to deliver critical business and financial insights. Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and budgeting processes, including MBR, QBR, and AOP.

  • Revenue Pacing: Lead the global weekly pacing process to identify key drivers and ensure accurate financial projections. Improve efficiency and effectiveness by defining a single source of data through leveraging dashboards.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Identify EBITA drivers for actionable insights, including but not limited to revenue, overhead, OPEX, and headcount.

  • Data Quality Improvement: Independently investigate data issues, ask pertinent questions to identify root causes, and collaborate with functional business partners and system support teams to enhance data quality.

  • Collaborative Decision Support: Partner with key business stakeholders and senior management to generate key assumptions and drivers for decision support. Conduct ad hoc data analysis to uncover business insights and observations.

  • Forecast Modeling: Translate business inputs into financial assumptions and maintain forecast models to project future business trends, including revenue, pricing, operating expenses, and headcount.

  • Adoption of New Tools: Proactively learn and implement new systems and tools to enhance analytics capabilities and accuracy.

  • Automated Reporting Solutions: Design, build, and maintain automated reporting tools and dashboards to streamline recurring processes, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy. Leverage data from multiple systems (e.g., ERP, BI platforms) to create scalable solutions that provide timely, actionable insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong track record of supporting business growth and achieving financial objectives.
  • Expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and ERP systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently investigate and resolve data issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and tools quickly and efficiently.
