About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior HR Manager to lead our People & Culture function and support our growing IT organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in scaling teams, driving HR operations, building high-performance culture, and partnering closely with technology leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment strategy for technical and non-technical roles.
- Build a strong employer brand and improve hiring turnaround time.
- Work with department heads to forecast workforce requirements.
2. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop HR policies aligned with business goals and IT industry best practices.
- Lead HR initiatives such as performance management, OKRs, career ladders, and succession planning.
- Drive organizational restructuring and change management when needed.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Create and execute engagement programs that foster a positive, innovative, and inclusive culture.
- Oversee employee onboarding, induction, and continuous engagement touchpoints.
- Conduct regular connect sessions and pulse surveys.
4. Performance Management
- Lead the annual and mid-year performance review cycles.
- Coach managers on capability building, team leadership, and conflict management.
- Ensure KPIs/OKRs are clearly defined and aligned across departments.
5. Learning & Development
- Identify skill gaps and design tailored L&D programs for tech teams.
- Partner with external trainers/vendors to run upskilling initiatives.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage payroll coordination, HRMS, leave & attendance, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Recommend improvements in HR systems and workflows.
7. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution
- Address employee grievances with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Conduct investigations and ensure fair disciplinary processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and employee
Key Requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR certifications (SHRM, HRCI, etc.) are a plus.
Experience
- 8–12+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Must have experience working in IT/Tech/Software/Startup environments.
- Proven track record in scaling teams and leading HR transformations.
Skills
- Strong understanding of IT hiring, tech roles, and modern HR tech tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- High emotional intelligence, problem-solving ability, and strategic thinking.
- Expertise in HR policies, analytics, and compliance
