Sr. HSE Officer ( Oil & Gas)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced HSE Officer/Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas, construction, and industrial safety to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across projects. The ideal candidate will implement HSE systems, conduct audits, and provide safety guidance to project teams in line with ADNOC and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment Management Systems (HSEMS) in line with ADNOC Codes of Practice and Standards.
• Conduct contractor HSE audits, pre-mobilization inspections, and site safety inspections.
• Participate in HSE assurance audits and prepare HSE statistics and RAG reports.
• Plan and execute emergency response drills and safety training sessions.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with permits (hot work, confined space, excavation, radiography, etc.).
• Inspect PPE, firefighting equipment, tools, and safe systems of work.
• Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions; ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Support site HSE Manager in all HSE-related activities and programs.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; additional HSE certifications preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC & HSW, IOSH MS, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Fire & Industrial Safety Management, First Aid, H2S, HAZMAT, Defensive Driving certifications.

Experience:

• Minimum 8–9 years of HSE experience, including UAE-based Oil & Gas projects, high-rise construction, mechanical & electrical works, and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in ADNOC-compliant environments is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk assessment procedures.
• Excellent reporting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead audits, inspections, and training programs.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and mitigating safety risks.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
