Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Import Operation Specialist to join our logistics team. This position will be responsible for coordinating and executing end-to-end import and customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence.

for our Los Angeles, CA corporate office.
Job Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of the importation process, including tracking, documentation

Manage import workflows to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Communicate and collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and carriers to troubleshoot shipment delays and exceptions.

Ensure complete and accurate import documentation, including but not limited to: Commercial Invoices, Bills of Lading, Entry Summaries (CBP Form 7501), and Customs Declarations.

Audit 100% of import entry transactions to verify data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Maintain updated knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, including T86, T01 processes, and applicable PGA requirements.

Identify and escalate discrepancies related to invoices, documentation, or shipment delays.

Ensure timely data entry and accuracy in TMS (Transportation Management System).
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

5+ years of experience in import operations, customs brokerage, or international logistics.

Familiarity with U.S. import procedures, HTS classification, and CBP entry processes.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to work in fast-paced environments.

Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, or TMS platforms.

Working knowledge of import models (e.g., T01) or T86 shipments is a plus.

Familiarity with customs automation systems, EDI/API processes, or CBP compliance tools.

Licensed Customs Broker or working toward the license is a strong plus.

Mandarin and English bilingual is a strong plus.
