About this Position

The Senior PMO Consultant acts as the right hand to the Steering Committee and provides direct support to the Head of Consultants. The role requires strong program management capabilities to drive multiple project streams autonomously, ensure governance, and deliver high-quality outcomes. The consultant will oversee project tracking, reporting, and execution across clusters, while also serving as the Program/Project Lead for two strategic projects.

What you´ll do

  • Support Project Managers (PMs) with ongoing project activities including tracking, reporting, and execution follow-up.
  • Ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved according to plan.
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for project escalations and issue resolution.
  • Oversee administrative and coordination tasks across multiple clusters.
  • Monitor and ensure time, cost, and scope alignment throughout project execution.
  • Maintain and enforce governance standards, templates, and processes across all projects.
  • Drive technical elements autonomously in collaboration with PMs and technical leads.
  • Provide regular updates, reports, and insights to the Steering Committee and leadership.
  • Quickly learn and utilize internal Henkel systems such as Project Management Tools, Approval Process Tools, and Budget
  • Management Tools to ensure smooth project steering.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance PMO effectiveness.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PMO Practitioner are preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in IT Project or Program Management, preferably within a PMO or consulting environment.
  • Experience in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain Management domains is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing multi-stream projects and working with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of project and program management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Familiarity with budget management and approval process tools.
  • Ability to leverage project governance frameworks and reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High learning agility with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities autonomously.
