SR. LAND SURVEYOR

The main purpose of the Senior Land Surveyor’s job is to perform field-surveying work to obtain data for base plans as well as construction stake-out and boundary survey.

• Support and conduct the affairs of the function with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety and corporate governance
• Support the development of KSA national employees across the function to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets and lead the knowledge dissemination culture to ensure optimal building of internal capabilities and maximize their performance
• Ensure compliance with code of ethics policy and adopting company values across all function’s employees and provide leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices
• Enhance adoption and utilization of systems and ERP
• Manage survey personnel and instruments onsite
• Maintain proper records of survey instrument inventory onsite
• insure survey instruments are properly calibrated and maintained in good working condition through proper use and preventive maintenance
• supervise establishment and measurement of control points
• Supervise GPS base station installations
• Supervise transformations to project datum
• Supervise execution of topographic surveys
• Supervise data processing
• Supervise preparation of drawings (sketches)
• Supervise survey calculations
• Supervise preparation of survey reports
• Supervise setting-out works
• Supervise other field/office survey works as required
• Actively participate in the operation of positioning systems installed on construction equipment (as applicable)
• Provides technical support and software / hardware troubleshooting to survey personnel
• Maintain all survey related records of the project
• Train and develop survey personnel.

• Bachelor in a related field; relevant technical certificates
• minimum 5 years’ experience in land surveying in a comparable sized operation to ESEC
• experienced in interpreting engineering plans and specifications
• Experience in the middle east is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English and preferably Arabic language
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD civil 3d
• Good knowledge of Alta’s, boundary, and topographic surveying along with construction staking and GPS experience for land development projects
• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and practices
• Good knowledge of the construction safety standards
