Sr Magento Developer (remote)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 eCommerce websites.
• Build custom modules, extensions, and integrations as per business requirements.
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Magento.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
• Implement third-party APIs, payment gateways, and ERP/CRM integrations.
• Maintain coding standards and best practices within the Magento framework.
• Manage version control, deployments, and environment setup.
• Stay updated with the latest Magento releases, patches, and security updates.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2 development.
• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of Magento architecture, modules, themes, and extensions.
• Experience with API integrations (REST, GraphQL).
• Knowledge of caching technologies (Redis, Varnish) and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of SEO, security standards, and eCommerce workflows.
• Magento certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
