Key responsibilities
- Project planning and execution: Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for all electrical aspects of the project.
- Team leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the project team, including electrical engineers and subcontractors, providing direction and mentorship.
- Technical oversight: Supervise the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems, review submittals and drawings, and ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements and codes.
- Budget and schedule management: Manage project budgets and ensure all work is completed on time and within scope, resolving issues that could cause delays.
- Risk management: Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize potential issues and ensure smooth project progression.
- Stakeholder communication: Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other departments to define project requirements and provide regular progress reports.
- Procurement and vendor management: Oversee the procurement of necessary materials and equipment and manage vendor and subcontractor relationships.
- Quality and safety compliance: Ensure all electrical work and systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Issue resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving technical and operational challenges that arise during the project.
