Job Summary:

The Senior Manager of Learning and Development will play a critical role in shaping the growth and capabilities of our organization's workforce. This individual will be responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive learning programs and initiatives that align with strategic business objectives. The Senior Manager will foster a culture of continuous learning, drive talent development, and ensure employees have the necessary skills to excel in their roles and advance their careers within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports the organization's strategic goals and talent objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, blended learning solutions, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across various departments and employee levels.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of learning projects, from conception and stakeholder alignment to resource allocation, budget management, and successful implementation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using various metrics and methodologies (e.g., Kirkpatrick's levels), providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Select, implement, and optimize learning technologies and platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP) to enhance the learning experience and accessibility.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of L&D professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate closely with HR business partners, department heads, and senior leadership to ensure L&D initiatives are integrated and supported across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends in learning technology, and adult learning theories to continuously innovate our L&D offerings.
  • Manage vendor relationships for external training programs, content development, and learning technologies.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for various audiences, demonstrating strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
