THE JOB:

The Sr. Manager, Business Analysis is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Oracle EPM (EPBCS) platform and related systems to support enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role serves as a key liaison between FP&A stakeholders and technical system teams, translating business requirements and financial planning needs into scalable system designs, data models, and reporting solutions. Working cross-functionally, the manager helps improve data flows, strengthen data accuracy, and develop tools that make financial insights more accessible and actionable for the business. The role also leads business-driven process improvement initiatives, oversees system testing and validation for new enhancements, and delivers training and guidance to ensure teams can effectively leverage the platform and its capabilities.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Collaborate closely with system stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into clear functional requirements, and optimize Oracle EPM usage across the organization.

• Manage metadata, user access, business rules, system updates, and troubleshooting for Oracle EPM, ensuring the platform is configured effectively for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Oversee ETL integrations, including design, enhancement, issue resolution, and development of data extraction and integration requirements in partnership with the Solution Architect.

• Validate data integrity, investigate discrepancies, and maintain reports, forms, and tools (SmartView, Narrative Reporting, online web forms) that provide FP&A teams with actionable financial insights.

• Partner with FP&A leaders to ensure data structures, calculations, and outputs support management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, while leading UAT/SIT for new deployments or enhancements.

• Capture, evaluate, and prioritize new functionality requests, lead design and implementation, promote adoption through intuitive solutions and documentation, and provide training and ongoing user support across the organization.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial systems, or business analysis.

• Functional expertise in Oracle EPM with the ability to guide system solutions and optimize financial planning processes.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into system and data solutions.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners.

• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate data, identify issues, and support informed business decisions.

• Experience in gaming or hospitality is a plus, providing context for industry-specific financial planning and reporting processes.
