Overview
The Sr. Manager of Strategic Sourcing – Indirects, is responsible for supporting all aspects for SUBWAY® restaurants related to indirect spend, services, equipment related services and distribution. The Category will include Restaurant Services and Equipment operations and distribution. This position is responsible for developing and supporting the execution of category sourcing strategies that assure supply, quality, and cost competitiveness for SUBWAY® in the U.S and Canada; managing supplier relationships; process improvements and managing the relationship with key SUBWAY stakeholders. This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Strategic Sourcing and is a key member of the Sourcing Team.

Develop and support strategies, programs, and policies for categories under their responsibility that meet short- and long-term goals and objectives.

Communicate performance against category strategies and goals to key stakeholders on a regular basis.

Negotiate and execute key contracts in alignment with sourcing strategies to create the best value for the services being sourced.

Foster effective relationships and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to build alignment on strategic initiatives and projects.

Lead RFI / RFP activity for the category.

Lead and facilitate the evaluation of suppliers, services and product categories to assure supply, reduce risk and ensure compliance with Brand claims and government regulations.

Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with vendors to evaluate performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Establish and manage KPIs to ensure accountability and favorably manage cost and risks for products being sourced.

Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Legal, IT, Communications, Security, and Member Support to drive the successful execution of organizational and brand initiatives, while optimizing value and operational efficiency.

Manage a team of sourcing professionals, including overall development, to achieve category goals.

Ensure procurement operations are executed within budgetary guidelines and financial targets.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree Required, Preferably in Supply Chain, Food Science, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum seven (7) years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement Required

This job does not require international travel. Occasionally, local travel within driving distance, and overnight domestic travel may be required.

This is a full-time position. Standard office hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. This position may require additional work hours outside these work hours, including weekends to complete job requirements.
