Job Description
To lead the content strategy and copywriting function across digital channels, ensuring clear, impactful, and user-centered communication. The role is responsible for embedding UX writing practices into digital journeys, safeguarding the brand’s tone and voice, driving governance across Arabic and English content, and overseeing the operational efficiency of the Content Studio including OPEX budget management.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage the content team specializing in copywriting, UX writing, and content strategy across web, app, and Retail self assisted screens (SAS)

Ensure adherence and governance of the brand-defined tone and voice (TnV) across consumer digital touchpoints.

Collaborate with UX/UI design to craft seamless user experiences through concise, user-friendly microcopy, CTAs, and conversational interfaces.

Develop content strategies for key journeys, campaigns, and product launches, ensuring alignment with both user needs and business objectives.

Drive content innovation through personalization, storytelling, and data-driven insights to maximize engagement and usability.

Partner with product owners, marketing, and regulatory teams to balance creativity, compliance, and accuracy.

Establish digital editorial guidelines, review processes, and governance frameworks to maintain quality, scalability, and compliance.

Mentor and grow a high-performing content team, fostering creativity and alignment with UX and commercial goals.

Introduce AI-powered tools and modern content practices to streamline creation, testing, and optimization.

Monitor and report on content performance, user adoption, and effectiveness using analytics, A/B testing, and feedback loops.

Oversee and manage the OPEX budget for the Content Studio, ensuring efficient resource utilization and vendor management.
Candidate Skills
The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in
UX writing, digital copywriting, and content strategy
, with the ability to safeguard tone and voice while tailoring communication to digital journeys. They must demonstrate strong collaboration, analytical thinking, and leadership skills, balancing creativity with operational rigor.
Experience in managing bilingual (Arabic/English) content is a must. Enforcing content governance and working with digital design systems is essential. Telecom, e-commerce, or technology industry experience is an advantage.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 7–10 years in digital content, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
