Sr. Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our consultancy firm and lead the mechanical engineering functions within our MEP department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering activities, reviewing and approving designs, and ensuring all mechanical systems meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all mechanical engineering activities within the MEP department.
• Review, evaluate, and approve mechanical designs and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local authorities’ regulations and standards.
• Maintain alignment with client requirements, expectations, and project specifications.
• Supervise project progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural, and architectural departments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
• Ensure implementation of best engineering practices and quality assurance procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering design within a consultancy environment.
• Proven experience in commercial, residential, and mixed-use building projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and authority regulations.
• Experience in design review, project coordination, and team leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

• Coordinating with multidisciplinary : 6 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• QID (Preferred)
• UPDA Grade preferable A (Preferred)
• QCDD (Preferred)
