Sr Mern Developer (remote/part time)

We are looking for an experienced Senior MERN Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in building scalable, high-performance web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and security.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services where required.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
