Job Title: Senior Odoo Developer (Full-Time)

Location: College Road, Township, Lahore (On-site)
Shift: Night Shift – 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (PKT)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Odoo Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and implementing Odoo solutions tailored to client business needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and successful project delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesOdoo Development & Customization

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirements
• Design and implement new features within the Odoo framework
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with standards

Integration & Data Management

• Develop and maintain APIs for third-party integrations
• Integrate Odoo with external platforms (e.g., e-commerce systems, payment gateways)
• Manage data migration, synchronization, and consistency
• Ensure data integrity and security across all systems

System Support & Optimization

• Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo-related technical issues
• Monitor and optimize system performance
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users

Database & Performance

• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Perform database maintenance, backups, and updates
• Implement performance tuning, indexing, and optimization strategies

Client Collaboration

• Gather and analyze client business requirements
• Translate business workflows into effective technical solutions
• Advise clients on Odoo best practices and system capabilities

Testing & Documentation

• Perform functional, unit, integration, and regression testing
• Implement automated testing where applicable
• Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides

Project Leadership

• Lead Odoo projects from planning through deployment
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders
• Track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery
• Mentor and support junior developers

Required Skills & QualificationsExperience

• 5–7 years of hands-on Odoo development experience
• Strong experience with Odoo versions v10 to v17 (or latest)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of Odoo ORM, workflows, reporting, and business logic
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of Odoo front-end and back-end architecture
• Familiarity with Odoo.sh, Odoo Enterprise, and Git
• Understanding of ERP systems and business processes
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience mentoring junior developers

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)

Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
