Work Schedule: Night Shift (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PKT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Odoo Developer to join our Lahore-based team. This full-time, on-site role requires working night shifts and offers the opportunity to build and enhance robust ERP solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Odoo ERP development, including customization, system integration, and performance optimization. You will play a key role in designing scalable solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality systems that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Odoo Development

• Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules based on business requirements
• Implement new features within the Odoo framework
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• Analyze and optimize existing modules for improved performance and reliability

Integration & Data Management

• Develop APIs and integrate Odoo with third-party systems (e.g., e-commerce platforms, payment gateways)
• Manage data migration and synchronization across systems
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security

System Support & Optimization

• Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo-related technical issues
• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users

Database & Performance Management

• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases
• Perform regular backups, updates, and maintenance
• Apply performance tuning techniques to ensure system efficiency

Collaboration & Leadership

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate workflows into effective technical solutions
• Recommend improvements aligned with Odoo best practices
• Mentor junior developers and encourage knowledge sharing
• Contribute to project planning and oversee the development lifecycle

Testing & Documentation

• Conduct unit, integration, functional, and regression testing
• Implement automated testing where applicable
• Maintain clear and well-structured technical documentation

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development
• Experience working with Odoo versions v10 through v17 (or later)

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of Odoo ORM, workflows, reporting, and module development
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with Odoo.sh, Odoo Enterprise, and Git
• Basic understanding of ERP systems and Agile methodologies

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior developers

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
