The Operations Manager at TSS Signage Division is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This role involves managing various departments, coordinating with other managers, implementing effective operational strategies, and managing financial aspects to support the company's goals. The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and meet the company’s standards.
- Manage and supervise entire operations of the branch in terms of production, delivery, storage and transportation.
- Plan, assign and direct all jobs performed in the branch and coordinate related production from other branches.
- Ensure quality of products and services being rendered to the customers.
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities for the company.
- Develop, manage and supervise Cost Controlling strategies in the branch
- Plan and manage the production and installations in the highest efficiency standards to meet profit margins targeted by the company.
- Ensure optimum utilization of resources by efficiently utilizing manpower and machineries.
- Ensure quality production, storage, transportation and installations to avoid maintenance requirements costing additional resources.
- Strive to improve the Return on Investment (ROI)
- Committed to the overall success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and growth in the Operations Department
- Manage staff, foster a positive environment.
- Share knowledge with team and other branches on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
- Stay abreast of competing market and implement changes required to adopt to the new market trends as per the management policies.
- Managing employees and addressing employee grievances.
- Providing on the job coaching and directions.
- Plan and develop desired competencies of self and the team
- Present and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products with new channels.
- Maintain proper filing of important records in professional way for easy access on requirements
- Submitting reports in prescribed formats.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Handle petty cash management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of expenses.
- Any other task assigned by the Management.
