The Senior Maintenance Planning Engineer is responsible for optimizing equipment reliability, minimizing unplanned downtime, and ensuring efficient resource allocation within our industrial and manufacturing operations.
Main Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance and shutdown planning schedules for plant equipment and machinery.

Coordinate with maintenance, production, and utilities teams to ensure effective execution of planned activities.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance plans aligned with operational requirements.

Monitor progress of maintenance work orders and ensure completion within the planned timeframe.

Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring equipment issues and recommend preventive actions.

Support planning and execution of major shutdowns, overhauls, and plant upgrades.

Maintain accurate planning data within the ERP/CMMS system (e.g., Dynamics AX).

Review maintenance backlog and prioritize tasks based on criticality and operational impact.

Coordinate spare parts requirements with the procurement and warehouse teams.

Track equipment performance indicators such as MTBF, MTTR, and downtime analysis.

Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, tools, and materials during maintenance activities.

Participate in root cause analysis for major equipment failures.

Support budgeting activities related to maintenance and technical projects.

Prepare periodic planning and performance reports for technical management.

Continuously improve maintenance planning processes to enhance plant reliability and operational efficiency.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:

B.S in Industrial Engineering or any related field.

Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the same field.
