Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, Infrastructure Engineer
This is a role for Infrastructure Engineer – OFFSHORE (INDIA) that required strong knowledge in concepts.
Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Engineer – OFFSHORE (INDIA)
• Assess existing on-premises or IaaS environment, including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations supporting SQL workloads.
• Validate network connectivity, bandwidth, latency, and VPN/ExpressRoute configurations for Azure migration feasibility.
• Analyze current resource utilization and recommend appropriate Azure compute, storage tiers, and networking configurations for PaaS.
• Plan VNETs, subnets, NSGs, and firewall rules to ensure secure connectivity between applications and Azure SQL PaaS.
• Assess Active Directory or AAD integration requirements for authentication and role-based access control in Azure.
• Review encryption, firewall, and auditing policies; map them to Azure security features (Private Endpoints, Defender for Cloud).
• Evaluate current HA/DR setup and design equivalent Azure solutions (Geo-redundant storage, failover groups, backup strategies).
• Recommend Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting configurations for proactive infrastructure health monitoring.
• Develop scripts/templates using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform for provisioning and configuration of Azure resources.
• Produce detailed infrastructure assessment reports, architecture diagrams, and migration readiness documentation.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking, storage, and security services.
• Cloud Migration Tools:
• Familiarity with Azure Migrate, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateway.
• Automation & IaC:
• Proficiency in PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Security & Compliance:
• Understanding of Azure security best practices and governance.
• Certifications (Preferred):
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
