Job Title: Project Engineer (Aluminum & Facade )

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of aluminum and glazing projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Leadership & Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of engineers, subcontractors, and other project staff, ensuring effective collaboration, resource allocation, and motivation to achieve project goals.

Client Relations & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to ensure financial efficiency.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the project timeline, cost, or quality. Proactively resolve issues and implement contingency plans when necessary.

Site Management & Coordination: Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring that work is performed according to specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Contractor & Supplier Management: Oversee the procurement process, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services needed for the project.

Progress Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and clients, including updates on schedules, budgets, and any potential issues.

Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring the safety of all personnel on site and adherence to local regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 8 years in the aluminum and glazing industry.

UAE Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is required, as the role involves frequent site visits and client interactions.

Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management principles, with experience managing large-scale projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

Technical Knowledge: Expertise in aluminum and glazing systems, construction techniques, and material specifications.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, manage client expectations, and resolve conflicts effectively.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to proactively address challenges and implement solutions.

Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues before they impact the project timeline or budget.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and working with cross-functional departments.

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE.

Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
