Sr. Project Engineer - Electrical

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

· Initiating project documentation, keeping records, preparing Material Submittals, RFIs, RFQs. Verifying design, specification and notify to Department manager/PM.

· Attend site inspections

· Supervise electrical works, manpower distribution etc.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication of their requirements and providing high-level MEP solutions.
• Lead and coordinate the design of electrical systems in collaboration with other MEP disciplines, ensuring integration across all systems.
• Manage the overall MEP coordination process, ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and clients.
• Oversee the production of electrical design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Conduct design reviews, identify potential conflicts, and implement solutions to ensure efficient and effective MEP coordination.
• Closely monitor the site QA/QC procedures
• Monitor the load schedules, SMDB, and MDB schedules on daily basis. And ensure the progress of work.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and international standards.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to the project team, design teams, ensuring that the progress of work.
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and coordination sessions to ensure the smooth delivery of project.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in MEP design and coordination.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles and the ability to communicate and manage client expectations effectively.
• Expertise in electrical systems design (power distribution, lighting, low voltage systems, etc.) within MEP projects.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
• Strong knowledge of local codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
