Sr. Proposal / Bid Engineer

• Identify business opportunities in Grid Stations, Transmission Lines, and Electrification fields by searching platforms like PPRA, NTDC, K-Electric, and e-newspapers.
• Liaise with vendors to study scopes of work, clarify requirements, and negotiate terms.
• Analyze client requirements to create technical compliance sheets and BOQs for tender/inquiry documents.
• Outline project specifications based on detailed review of tender documents.
• Conduct site surveys, study tender scopes, and draft pre-bid queries.
• Coordinate internal meetings with Commercial, Logistics, Civil, Project, and Planning teams for pre-bid clarifications.
• Prepare and submit Pre-Qualification (PQ) and Expression of Interest (EOI) documents.
• Develop detailed BOQs for Transmission Lines, Grid Stations, and Electrification projects in collaboration with the Project Department.
• Float RFQs to vendors, engage in vendor hunting, and compare quotations for tender purposes.
• Prepare cost comparison reports and conduct final project cost estimations.
• Support strategic procurement processes, particularly for foreign currency components.
• Compile and submit essential documentation for techno-commercial bids.
• Liaise with client representatives and engineers for specific tender requirements.
• Maintain and update vendor contact lists, customer lists, tender logs, project references, and offer records.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• PEC Certification.
• 3 - 4 Years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, research, and analytical abilities
