Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to manage procurement operations andensure the timely availability of materials for production. The role will focus on PO management,invoice handling, vendor coordination, vendor performance tracking, and onboarding of newsuppliers to strengthen the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, release, and track Purchase Orders (POs) for raw materials, components, and services.

• Ensure PO approvals are completed in coordination with internal stakeholders.

• Verify and process invoices in line with company guidelines.

• Conduct PO follow-ups with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.

• Maintain vendor tracking systems for performance, quality, and delivery adherence.

• Generate procurement MIS reports for management (PO status, pending invoices, vendorperformance, savings).

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to expand and optimize the supply base.

• Participate in vendor negotiations to achieve cost savings and better terms.

• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Stores teams to ensure material availability.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and audit requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes in Automotive industries.

• Strong experience with PO lifecycle management & invoice handling.

• Skilled in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/any) and MS Excel.

• Strong vendor management, sourcing, and negotiation skills.

• Good communication, reporting, and coordination abilities.

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Pay: ₹420,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
